  9. I need some help with connecting a CDROM drive to my Amiga. I've
  10. never actually connected an external SCSI device so... I need
  11. to make sure I know what I'm doing :)

  13. I have:

  15. An A2000 with Internal Supra WordSync SCSI Hard-Drive.
  16. An NEC CDR-36 External CD-ROM drive.

  18. The Supra WordSync manual describes the external port as a DB-25
  19. SCSI port... and states that it follows the Macintosh format
  20. (On the 25-pin connector, pins 7,9,14,16,18, and 24 connect to
  21. ground.. on the 50-pin connector, all odd pins except 25 connect
  22. to ground).

  24. So, I'm assuming I need a DB-25 to Centronics 50 cable to connect the
  25. drive? Anyone else have a CD-ROM drive attached to a WordSync? Perhaps
  26. you could give some suggestions?
